Damp patches on the ceiling below the bathroom, worst around the shower and floor trap.
Inspection findings
Failed grout and a worn waterproofing layer letting shower water into the screed.
Testing conducted
Ponding test on the bathroom floor confirmed seepage at the grout lines near the floor trap.
Repair scope
Floor cleaned and dried, grout lines sealed, a clear waterproofing coat applied over the tiles and around the floor trap, cured and ponding-tested again.
Outcome
Ponding test held. No new staining below during monitoring.
