Reported problem
A spreading water stain on the ceiling of the unit below, growing after the bathroom above was used.
Inspection findings
Water was tracking through cracks in the slab from the wet area above, not from a pipe.
Testing conducted
Visual inspection of both units, moisture readings on the ceiling, and ponding of the floor above to confirm the path.
Repair scope
Injection ports set along the leak path, polyurethane injected to seal the cracks, ports removed, ceiling patched and made good.
Outcome
Ceiling stayed dry through the monitoring period. Repainting followed once the patch had cured.
